Working Principle of VSI Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher:
Two feeding ways controlled by the material-dividing plate.
1. Center Feeding:
Raw material falls down into feeding hopper, and then enters impellor through central entrance hole. It is accelerated in high-speed impellor, then is thrown out at speed of 60-75m/s. It is crushed when hitting impact plate. Final products come downwards through the outlet. This feeding way is mainly for sand-making.
2. Ring Feeding:
Raw material falls down into feeding hopper, then through ring, it is divided into two parts by material-dividing plate. Some enter into impellor through the center of material-dividing plate. Some others fall down from outside of material-dividing plate. Material, which is thrown out by impellor at speed of 60-75m/s, hits material coming down from outside of material-dividing plate. In this way, material is crushed. This feeding way is mainly for cubic shaping.
